This comprehensive certificate program is designed to provide social workers, therapists, and counselors with the specialized skills and knowledge necessary to effectively support individuals experiencing racial trauma. Through a series of comprehensive courses, participants will gain a deep understanding of the origins, manifestations, and impact of racial trauma, as well as develop culturally responsive approaches to counseling. The program will explore topics such as liberation psychology, systemic dynamics of power and privilege, trauma-informed supervision, and tailored interventions for specific populations, fostering critical consciousness and advocacy within the field of mental health.
